First Point Animal Services

First Point Animal Services provides a purpose-built, world-class facility at Melbourne Airport to ensure the safe and secure transit of animals. Designed in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and Melbourne Airport, the centre features modern biosecurity systems that disinfect boots, clothing and stalls, reducing the risk of disease transmission such as equine influenza.

Opened in 2017, the facility was established to meet the growing demand for high-quality animal transport services and supports the safe movement of hundreds of horses and pets into and out of Australia each year.
